This link is about bringing Super Star back with new mechanism.

Please be very clear that it is a full payment pre-order that could last as long as 6 months. Our statement is ‘Either your money or your puzzle is safe with us’, you are encouraged to evaluate before any actions taken.

Super Star was first produced by VeryPuzzle in 2012. Its name was inspired by another eye-catching puzzle in star polyhedron shape, namely Alexander’s Star. Pictures are from its first launch in 2012 and to be replaced when new samples are ready.

After Super Star was sold out in 2017, there had been requests every year ever since. Partners also requested for a remake of this puzzle. Grok even discovered some supportive comment like ‘under appreciated gem’ to encourage me. Recent feedbacks on facebook obviously did the final kick.

Motivations aside, I do have a  few things to address or improve in this version:
1. Overall size: tip to tip distance < 120mm (very close to the previous version);
2. Mechanism: physically more stable (less wobbling & catchy), prevents illegal moves;
3. Extended sticker set: more stickers for alternative schemes;
4. It comes assembled and boxed, with extended sticker set. You may also request stickering service before shipping;
5. Upgraded core. Probably straight to V6 adjustable core (which is still in its verification stage) if the campaign goes well (20K+);
6. A successful rebuild of Super Star will shed light on models including Curvy Tuttminx, Classical Tuttminx, Lovebird / Kilo Tuttminx and Speed Tuttminx.

Timeline of the campaign:

-Stage 1: Early Bird Stage. Time duration: 7th Jul. ~ 22nd Jul., 2026. Items offered during this stage: black *400 pcs, white *150 pcs, transparent blue *150 pcs. Transparent blue / sky blue is early bird exclusive and only available at this stage. Restriction: no more than 3 blue models per account. It is the best time to have it, especially for individuals. It is also an important time frame to receive your inputs about this project too, don’t hesitate to let us know!

-Stage 2: Tooling and Production Stage. Tooling and production happens during this stage. It is also the final chance for backorders. Time duration: 22nd Jul. ~ 7th Nov., 2026. During this stage, black and white models will still be available for backorders but at 10% higher price. It is still a bargain if you missed the first stage. Note that there will only be one production run for white models. So we’ll set a number a bit larger than existing orders for it in this stage.

-Stage 3: Delivery Stage. Prices return to normal (62$ for standard model) when delivery starts. The first batch of dispatch is planned no later than 7th Nov., 2026. Fulfilling priority: stage 1 orders (and wholesale orders), then stage 2 orders, then stage 3 orders.
